Terms of Service

These terms are a plain-language agreement between you and Fetch It AI, a service based in the United States. By subscribing to or using Fetch It AI, you agree to them.

1. The service

Fetch It AI is a web tool that analyzes text you paste for common signs of AI writing and helps you clean it up (removing em dashes, flagging stock phrases, and checking spelling). Analysis and cleanup run in your browser.

2. United States only

Fetch It AI is offered only to residents of the United States. Do not use this tool where prohibited by law, your institution, or your employer. You are responsible for complying with all rules and laws that apply to you.

3. Subscription and billing

Fetch It AI costs $3.99 per month, billed by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel. We never see or store your card details. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe.

4. Your license

• One license is for one person and covers up to 3 devices at a time.
• A device is a browser or desktop install you log in from. You can manage or remove your devices from your account page.
• Keep your license key to yourself. Shared or resold keys may be revoked.

5. Cancellation

Cancel anytime from your account page via Manage billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access until then. No emails to write, no retention offers.

6. Refunds

If Fetch It AI isn’t for you, email support@fetchitai.com within 7 days of your first charge and we’ll refund it. Renewal charges are not refundable, but you can cancel at any time to stop future ones.

7. Acceptable use

Don’t use Fetch It AI for anything unlawful, and don’t attempt to disrupt, probe, or overload the service. You are responsible for how you use your text and for following the rules of your school, employer, or publisher. Fetch It AI’s AI-signs check is a heuristic estimate, not proof of anything, and we make no promises about how any third-party detector will judge your text.

8. Disclaimer and liability

Fetch It AI is a text-editing tool. Fetch It AI and its operators are not responsible for how you use the output, and are not liable if any text is flagged, detected, or identified as AI-generated by any person, institution, detector, or service. No tool can guarantee that text will or will not be identified as AI-generated. You are solely responsible for how you use this tool and its output, including compliance with any academic, workplace, platform, or legal policies that apply to you. The service is provided ‘as is’ without warranties of any kind.

To the extent the law allows, the total liability of Fetch It AI and its operators for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

9. Changes to these terms

If we make meaningful changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
